How is everyone, are you all well! Well welcome to another challenge at Digi Choosday Challenge!!!! Yes it is DISCOUNT DAY people! So get your behinds over to the MAIN CHALLENGE and grab that code while it lasts!
However, before you go...........let's take a wee look at this weeks challenge. Every week the challenge for you lovely people is 'Anything Goes' - however, for the design team, there is a challenge - and this week we were challenged to use 'Ribbon or Lace'.
Now this isn't a challenge for me. I have a 21 litre Really Useful Box that cannot actually close without forcing it because it is FULL of ribbon AND lace. However, it's so very pretty I do find very good reason not to use it................you crafty crafters know what I mean! It's too pretty. I even take the ribbon off birthday cakes, but it just gets cleaned and put in the box. I have a problem I know.
Anyhoo, as this challenge specifically says ribbon or lace, I cut a length of ribbon for this weeks card. Oh the indecision................
Before that, I wasted half an evening deciding what beautiful image I was going to use for this challenge, there is just SO much to choose from!
I finally decided to use 'Marigold' from the stunning new collection 'Darling Buds'. Now this is available as an individual digi download, or as a download collection. Click on the options to be taken to the store, or click on the STORE to go browsing! Remember if you only want an indivdual digi image from the collection then you also get the coloured version, so that's 2 digi stamps for £2.59! Can you say BARGAIN????? I can! :)
Ok enough with me, let's talk cards.
So I made a 7x7 card, this week I pulled my Silhouette Portrait into play.
I cut a plain white 7x7 back, then I cut a smaller 'nest' square in a paper I found in 'Winne Fruit Punch' - now again this is available in different formats. You can have the whole digi download, the CD, just the paper bundle that I have used, actually there are so many different choices of bundles in this I recommend you go have a nose!
I then printed out 'Marigold' onto white card (cut with my portrait) and coloured her with my Copic Markers. I added a sentiment from the 'Darling Bud' collection and added that all important piece of ribbon.
Well thank you for popping past, now remember to take part in our challenge, it's 'Anything Goes' as long as it is handmade by YOU. Rules are on the main challenge blog where you can see the rest of the design teams inspiration for this week.
Don't forget to use that discount code in the shop! Have fun!
See you next week!
