Hello!

REMEMBER to get to the main blog and grab that DISCOUNT CODE for use for TODAY ONLY! You have til midnight tonight to grab a bargain.

So this week for Christmas designs I was drawn to the wonderful collection of Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun, which you can see here. This is a fabulous collection. Today I concentrated on one of the embellishments the cute little Robin.

He comes as a precoloured image and I paired him into the garland border in order for him to be framed.

How cute is he? I adore him.

I used papers from the same collection - you can find a breakdown of all the Festive Fun collection here.

Pop over to the main blog to see what else the design team have come up with, there is lots of inspiration for you to look at.

Remember to come join in the fun with us, you can use any medium you like and the theme is anything goes.

Christmas in July..........

Hello

It is time for a new challenge at Digi Choosday Challenge - as you know our challenges are always Anything Goes but the design team like to have a theme and this week we are using the theme of Christmas!!!!!!! Whooo Hooo!

REMEMBER to get to the main blog and grab that DISCOUNT CODE for use for TODAY ONLY! You have til midnight tonight to grab a bargain.

So this week the design team are thinking Christmas or winter colours. Well I decided to jump right into Christmas - why wouldn't you I ask? I bought the Winnie Winterland Collection last year when it came out and I didn't use it once. Shame on me. Looking through the collection for this weeks challenge, I seriously don't know how I didn't use this. It is JAM packed full of goodies.

Now if you were here a few weeks ago, you would have seen my new found delight on design sheets. Well Christmas isn't any different, I used this FAB design sheet from Winnie Winterland big kahuna Bundle, I used design sheet 2 which you can find here if you want it individually.

As you can see, I made a 7x7 card, on a kraft blank card, then I cut out all the elements of the design sheet on my Silhouette and then just had fun with the layout. I adore design sheets now. They are quick and super easy to make great cards with.

Pop over to the main blog to see what else the design team have come up with, there is lots of inspiration for you to look at.

Hope to see you soon!

Winnie Christmas Wreath............

Hi everyone!

So something a little different from me today, I have stamped, yes, a stamp which needed ink and everything and the reason is - Winnie Christmas Wreath Stamp, exclusive as 'Stamp of the Month' - this stamp will NEVER be available as a digi stamp.

Now as you can see, the sizes of each stamp are given, she really is a good sized stamp and oh so very cute.

You need to pre-order the stamp before the end of July to get the special price and then orders will go out towards the end of August. Plenty of time for you to get this gorgeous image on your Christmas makes.

So a little bit about the new Stamp of the Month club - each month Polkadoodles will issue a new one-off stamp, which will be available at a special pre-order price.  Once the pre-order closes, the price then increases also.  Pre-orders will mean that there is about a 4 week delay between ordering and shipping.  Remember - you will NEVER get this amazing image in a digi format, so if you want this little cutie, you need to order!

I stamped out my image of Winnie, she comes in at 3.8x4.5inches so it's a hefty size. I decided a scalloped circle was the way to go. I coloured her with my copic markers and it was so much fun.

I made a 8x8 card, now the reason I went large isn't because of the stamp size, it's because I went large on my scalloped circle.

I used the following markers for Winnie:

Skin: E000, E00, E02, E21, E11, E04, R20 (cheeks)
Hair: E31, E33, E35
Hat, Coat, Boots, Ribbon: R32, R35, R37, R39
Dress, Scarf: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
Wreath: G21, G94, G99, R37, R39, YR14, YR18
Door: E31, E35, E25, E29
Robin: E13, E15, E18, R35, R32, Y35 Blender

Now the little Robin stamp is a wee bonus and he comes in at the size of 1.2x1.2 inches. You can put him anywhere, or not use him at all. I decided to make him an accent to my main card.

I used the same colours for this stamp as I did with the little Robin in the scene above, only I added in E15 for his breast.

The papers are from the Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun Collection which you can see here.

I added a little bit of ribbon and I think she came out lovely!

So I hope you like my inspiration.

Thanks for popping by!

Hugs

Thank You

Hello!

It is time for a new challenge at Digi Choosday Challenge - as you know our challenges are always Anything Goes but the design team like to have a theme and this week we are using the theme of Thank You.

REMEMBER to get to the main blog and grab that DISCOUNT CODE for use for TODAY ONLY! You have til midnight tonight to grab a bargain.

This week I decided to have a perusal of one of the lovely new collection that Nikky has been spoiling us with and this is the L'il Miss Sugarpops Collection.

I popped into L'il Miss Sugarpops #1 full collection and played with Cutie Pie, however, if you just want the singular image, you can find that here.

I made a 6x6 card using papers from the collection and the black and white digi image, I coloured with Copic Markers and I LOVE her. The sentiment is also from the same collection.

Isn't she the cutest with her little feet dangling over the edge. So cute! I have absolutely no idea why my skin looks like a solid line. It doesn't look like that in real life and I am unsure why it's coming up like that, quite disappointing but I have taken the photo several times and it is still doing it. Sorry about that :(

Pop over to the main blog to see what else the design team have come up with for your inspiration, there are better pictures than mine that is for sure as well as some gorgeous projects!

Remember to come join in the fun with us, you can use any medium you like and the theme is anything goes, as long as it is made by you.

Thanks for stopping by!

Winnie Special Moments - Design Sheet

Hello!

It is time for a new challenge at Digi Choosday Challenge - as you know our challenges are always Anything Goes but the design team like to have a theme and this week we are once again reminding you about the fantastic Design Sheets that Nikky adds into most of her collections.

Now before we get on to what I made this week, REMEMBER to get to the main blog and grab that DISCOUNT CODE for use for TODAY ONLY! You have til midnight tonight to grab a bargain.

So as I was saying, design sheets. Oh my goodness, I used to be terrified of them, everything was on one page, did you need to use it all, could you resize it, who wants to cut it all out? Well, I am super duper converted to the ease and use of a design sheet.

Firstly - if you have an electronic cutting device, you are LAUGHING! Nikky adds in to her collections a black outline of the design sheet, you just enter that into the Silhouette, trace, voila - cut lines sorted. Then you take the matching coloured design sheet, it lays over the top, group them together, voila.

Secondly, yes you can resize anything you want only do it AFTER you have traced and grouped ok.

Thirdly, use what you want! Once I got to the stage of realising not everything had it's place and there is no set format for how YOU want to design the card - I have had LOADS of fun.  As you can see below!

I used design sheet number 2 in the main collection of Winnie - Special Moments for this card. However, if you just want the design sheet - you can get it here.

I added one extra paper from the same collection and then just had fun designing a carefree fun card. I used a 7x7 kraft card blank and I love how this turned out. It's not my usual everything in it's place card and I think that's why I love it so!

Here's a close up for you.

As I said, random fun!

Pop over to the main blog to see what else the design team have come up with for your inspiration, trust me, there are some gorgeous projects over there!

Remember to come join in the fun with us, you can use any medium you like and the theme is anything goes.

Hope to see you soon!

Focus on the sentiment.............

Hello!

Tuesday is the best day as it is discount code day which is on the main blog so make sure you use it! The challenge for our entrants is Anything Goes, but this week the design team were asked to make a project with focus on the sentiment.

Now if you were here last week you would have seen that I was playing with the Serenity Collection - which you can find here. Because I was falling in love with Serenity all over again, I had to use it again this week!

I used the papers, sentiments and image from the collection.
It's a simple card but I think it hits the brief perfectly.
Pop over to the main blog and see the rest of the inspiration from the design team,

See you soon!

Use More Than One Image......

Hello

It's a fresh challenge at Digi Choosday Challenge today which means a new challenge and a new discount code! So make sure to take advantage of the fab discount while you can.

For those playing along with us the theme is Anything Goes, you can enter any project you like as long as it is made by you.

So the design team where asked to make a project using more than one image, I decided I wanted to make a mini notebook, and the only collection I wanted to play with for this was of course Serenity! You can check out this beautiful collection here.  I would warn you, there are a LOT of pictures coming.........

I used purple backing card and printed papers from the collection using my silhouette portrait.

I printed a sentiment from the collection onto every sheet and the printed and cut out appropriate images to complete my little notebook.

I was SO happy with how this turned out. I took a very bad picture of it standing, hope you can see what I was aiming for.
I love this, all I had to do was tie it with some ribbon to make it complete.

I hope you pop over to the main blog to see the rest of the inspiration from the design team.

See you soon!

Hugs
